TO SUM UP:

Engineer by education, I spent the whole of my carreer in private companies in civil and industrial engineering, in transportation and in urban development. I exercized responsibilities in various fields, first from commercial, contract negociations, to complex projects management and disputes resolutions, then in a second part of my carreer, in transverse functions such as innovation, research and environment management. For two thirds of the time, I worked in international environments, mainly under English legal tradition. I the have a 360° approach of issues raised in construction and industrial projects.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

• 1 year in engineering offices for North Sea offshore concrete oil platforms
• 2 years as deputy and then spread boss on a gas pipeline in northern England
• 6 years as construction manager in Saudi Arabia : Djeddah harbour developement, desalination plant, high pressure water line to Medina and pumping stations, piping works and pumping plant
• 6 years as Technical manager for onshore oil and gas installations and pipelines, and other industrial plants in West Afrika, Middle East and Far East
• 5 years as Project director for the Malaysian transpeninsular gas pipeline
• 8 years as Innovation Vice-president in a major construction and services French company
• 15 years as consultant in innovation management in the construction and urban development domains, of which 10 as technical expert in Courts

EXPERIENCE IN CONTRACT MANAGEMENT:

• Management of large and complex industrial turnkey contracts
• Day to day negociations of BOQ contracts with British Quantity Surveyors
• A fairly large dispute during several years with smaller appended affairs and one international arbitration
